The buffet bar SB 40 M is a mixed 4/1 GN 4 buffet consisting of 2 separate compartments for self-service:
1 refrigerated compartment with a capacity of 2/1 GN is meant for chilled food (+ 2 / + 10 ° C) like starters, salads or desserts
1 heated compartment with a capacity of 2/1 GN keeps warm (+20 / +90°C) appetizers or meat, fish, vegetable… thanks to the bain-marie system.
In the refrigerated compartment, the cold conduction in the buffet is provided by a pin in contact with the stainless steel plate. No more manual defrosting: the evaporator tube is protected from the air! Automatic defrosting of the refrigerated buffet occurs every 2 hours thanks to the electronic thermostat.
In the heating compartment, the stainless steel tank is fitted out with two heating elements to ensure an even heat and a perfect bain-marie cooking. The tank can be emptied thanks to the stainless steel draining device.
All in all, this combined salad’bar has a capacity of 4/1 GN containers for self-service use in restaurants, hotels, local communities and hospitality. It optimizes the presentation and keeps at right temperature your starters, meals and desserts. The freestanding buffet bar SB 40 M is provided with a mirror and one side access and also a drop down shelf on the open side.
This combined freestanding buffet can accept any type of GN trays and containers up to 150mm deep.
