With a robust construction, this cast-iron contact grill is ideally suited for intensive use. Its cast iron plates have a high power of thermic inertia: after 15 minutes of preheating, the plates restore heat and can be used continuously on a daily basis.
Cast-iron plates with a high conduction value enable homogeneous cooking thanks to the serpentine-shaped heating elements covering the whole cooking surface under each plate.
If the PANINI XL model is a professional contact-grill specifically designed for panini cooking in large quantities by its size, it is also used to toast various sandwiches or to cook steaks. The top plate of this professional contact-grill is self-balancing. The pressure spring is adjustable to adapt the cooking to food. In smooth version, the bottom plate is ideal for teppaniaki cooking or plancha grilling of meat, fish, crustaceans, vegetables ... but also for cooking omelettes, fried eggs, scrambled eggs ...
